Albany Lane was perfect for our family of 4 on a short break to Edinburgh. It had everything we needed, plus lovely extras like flowers, biscuits and fruit on arrival. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the beds were super comfortable and it was well thought out in terms of space. Lovely garden area and garage a bonus. Location was great for exploring the city, plus lots of great eateries just around the corner. Hope to be back soon!

Great location with parking clean and spacious apartment with all facilities you could want. Easy to walk everywhere from here be it New Town, Old Town, Leith, etc.

Perfect property and location in Edinburgh for a few days work. High end rental property which is within walking distance of central Edinburgh, restaurants or equally capable of stay in and cook.

Great place to stay, just a minute from the Royal Mile and Holyrood Palace. The secure car parking was an added bonus. Everything from booking to arival was stress free. The apartment was very comfortable, with all the usual amenities, and feels really cosy after a day out seeing the sights. Would definitely book again!

This apartment is wonderful! We like the sunshine and the lion rock. It is very convenient to supermarket,post office , park , bus stop and train by walking distance . Also , you can find anything you need in the apartment. We recommend this apartment to anyone who travel to Edinburgh.

We just loved our 12 night stay at Royal Mile 1. It really allowed us to feel like we lived in Edinburgh, during the time we were there. The location is ideal-20 steps and you're on the Royal Mile - yet inside Chessels Courtyard it is so tranquil and serene. The views from our windows were fantastic. The customer service provided by GreatBase was excellent. We cooked many of our own meals and the kitchen was well stocked for that. There is a bus stop right outside the entrance to Chessel's court and other stops just a 5 minute walk away. The beds were very comfortable and the heater worked well to keep us warm. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our time at Royal Mile 1 and the way it helped to make our trip to Edinburgh just perfect!

My husband and I stayed in the apartment for a week -- it was a fantastic location for sightseeing, wandering, discovering new places to eat and drink, and people watching. The front room looks out on a somewhat busy street, but it is not noisy late. The bedroom looks out onto the courtyard and the castle, and is blissfully quiet. Everything is cozy but perfect for travelers. The Grassmarket has to be one of the lowest parts of the Old Town, so everything is uphill from the front door, but there is no visiting Edinburgh without climbing. We would absolutely stay here again
